Tenants’ Rights Flash Cards

March 10th, 2010 by Dave · 2 Comments

I love these! Designer Candy Chang’s Tenants’ Rights Flash Cards come in sets of 30, with each one explaining a different right. They would make a great addition to a class for adult immigrant students. Some of the laws referred to are specific to New York, but a lot of the information applies to other states as well. Plus, they’re only $10 and the money goes to a good cause.

Thanks Khalid

Dave, recently Helen was asking about whether there are any studies about which human rights how many people, and where, consider essential. I think it was followup to a survey by the BBC about Internet access being considered a basic right. – Do you have any tips on where to find intercultural comparisons on this issue? Thanks!
Oh, and thanks for playing Expanding Alice 🙂

That’s a great question. A quick Google search didn’t turn anything up, but I’ll let you know if I find anything.
